Designing a stand is a craft on its own. That is why we do not do it by ourselves.
To develop the best possible design, we work together intensively with professional designers. Years of experience have taught us that designers often have an eye for architectural and aesthetic aspects (shapes, colours and such things) in particular. Sometimes they forget that a stand usually serves a commercial goal. What’s more, designers often have little experience of the comings and goings in a stand during the trade exhibition.
We do have this practical experience. We also know most exhibition spaces in Western Europe not from a map, but because we have been there ourselves. We merge our practical experience of trade shows with the knowledge of a professional designer.
Through this approach, you get a design that works.
Small stands
We often hear that clients with small stands get hardly any attention from most stand building companies.
That is not the case with us. On the contrary, clients with a ‘small’ stand take up a special position in our company. For this type of stand, we have developed a bespoke concept.
Small(er) stands often have a ‘run-of-the-mill’ character because a ‘exhibition delivered system stand’ is used. These normally consist of white plastic walls with an aliminium edge, with unsightly carpet tiles on the floor and furniture that lacks character – or is sometimes even worn out. Posters can often only be mounted to the walls with tape.
SEMM has developed a concept with which you can stand out with a small stand, for all the right reasons – without much extra cost. Instead of a standard stand we will give you a stand with an individual design and a design which is compatible with the visual identity of your company.
Stand lighting!
The lighting of the stand is an often overlooked aspect.
Because both the designer and the stand builder do not know enough about this topic, it is often underappreciated. The result: sometimes too much light and often not enough light. Only rarely the lighting of a stand is ‘perfect’. Because we think that lighting is a crucial element of your stand, we explicitly take lighting into account from the design stage. So you will not have too much of it, and not too little.
